Community Event

Share the Load Walk

 In Memory of Johnathan Cook

Monday May 25th - 9:30am - 4:00 PM

STL - Logo.jpg

As a team we will be carrying a stretcher, loaded with 80kg

(the average weight of a man in the UK)

Demonstrating that everybody’s load is easier to carry when shared with friends

This event is to raise awareness and funds in support of Tattoos and Tears and our work with people of all ages, seeking community, suffering with their mental health and those currently going through tough times.

We are also raising funds to create a permanent memorial for Johnathan Cook. He was an inspiration for many of us, and an example of a man who's strong faith and constant involvement in his church community carried him through many years of struggles with his health.

We would like to have as many people involved in this event as possible, whether that is walking and chatting, taking a turn carrying the stretcher or just joining us for the picnic.

There will be music, games and a few giveaways!
